What Are Stem Cells?
Stem cells have the potential to transform into any kind of cell the body needs. Stem cells start out "undifferentiated" and then change into more specialized types of cells such as those that make up the body’s different organs, bones, muscles, cartilage, connective tissue, or any other type of body tissue.
The stem cells in our body act to repair and replace tissue when it is injured or otherwise damaged. But unfortunately, as we age, our stem cells age right along with us and lose a great deal of their vitality. We also have many fewer stem cells in our body's as we age.
When young tissue including growth factors, cytokines, proteins and stem cells are introduced into an area of the body where tissue has been damaged, they provide enhancement to our natural healing processes.
Types of Stem Cells
Wharton’s Jelly-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells

We source these stem cells from established tissue banks that operate under strict compliance with FDA and AATB regulations. Bone Marrow Stem Cells
Bone marrow stem cells are extracted from a patient's femur or hipbone using a highly invasive drilling process. The procedure can be quite painful, and there is a risk of infection as a result of drilling into the bone. Another drawback is that the stem cells are the age of the patient. Older stem cells may not be as proficient as young cells. As an illustration, think about how much more quickly young people heal from injury than do older people. This is due to the age and number of stem cells in the body at certain ages.
Adipose Tissue Stem Cells
While adipose tissue stem cells are easier to extract relative to bone marrow stem cells (they are obtained from the patient’s body fat under local anesthetic), they too are the age of the patient and thus may not be as effective as young cells. Also, fat tissue is known to store toxins, which may introduce additional risk.
