Over twenty years of clinical practice in traditional Chinese Medicine. These include ten years with the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Shanghai China (Jing-An District Central Hospital). Over eight years of private clinical practice in the United Stares, in addition to six years experience as Acupuncture Physician in a substance abuse treatment program with Dade County's Department of Human Resources.
Approximately nine years as an Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Instructor and was clinic director at the Southeast Institute of Oriental Medicine in Miami, Florida.
Seven and a half years of formal medical education and training in traditional Chinese Medicine. This includes four and a half years at the world-renowned Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and three years at Shanghais Jin-An District Medical School.
Licensed to practice acupuncture in the State of Florida by the Department of Professional Regulation.
Certified by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association as Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist.
Education
- Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine: Graduate. Medical curriculum training which consisted of 24 courses. These included science courses in biochemistry, pharmacology, anatomy, medical, chemistry, pathology, etc. In addition, courses in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), were also included, the History of Chinese Medicine, Classic Chinese Medicine, Chinese Medical Theory, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Herbal Formulae, diagnostic, internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, gynecology, acupuncture and moxibustion, etc.
